When ordering a gown, a 50% deposit will be required. This amount is NON-REFUNDABLE. The balance of your gown must be paid in full by your first fitting. Monies are not refundable or transferable to other orders, once the order has been placed; you have no rights to simply change your mind (sale of goods act 1982). The Boutique has the right to recover all losses to the business if the wedding is cancelled.
At the time of ordering your gown you will be measured and your gown will be ordered to correspond with the manufacturers size chart. (Please be aware that the gown sizes are different to that of the high street sizes.) The Boutique can hold no responsibility for growth, weight gain/loss or pregnancy.
Please note: Gowns are made to order and are not made to measure.
The Boutique offer an alterations service but it is an independent service provided by a fully experienced seamstress. The Boutique will not be held liable for any such alterations.
Alteration costs are NOT INCLUDED. The price can only be given on your first fitting. Please note alterations must be paid in cash to the seamstress directly and all gowns must be paid for in full before alterations can be undertaken.
It is essential that the customer bring their shoes and any underwear being worn on the wedding day to their fittings.
However, if further alterations are needed due to change in shoes/underwear etc there will be an additional charge.
Alterations may be carried out elsewhere if required, customers are not obligated to use the seamstress provided by The Boutique.
Please note: The Boutique accept no responsibility for any wedding gown alterations.
Sale gowns are purchased as seen. Alterations and cleaning are the responsibility of the purchaser. A charge will be incurred for alterations carried out by our independent seamstress.
All items must be paid in full on order and are NON-REFUNDABLE. They must be checked by the purchaser before leaving the store, as The Boutique accept no responsibility for damaged items once they have left the premises.
All items are subject to special order and cannot for hygiene reasons be returned/exchanged or credited under any circumstances.
Vouchers can be purchased from wedding shows or designer days at a cost of £100 this entitles you 10% off any wedding gown at The Boutique. The voucher is valid for 3 months and is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for anything else other than 10% off your wedding gown at The Boutique. Should you change your mind and buy a dress elsewhere the £100 will be forfeited.
Our gowns on average take 6-9 months to be delivered. Rush orders can be placed at an additional charge. We will not be held liable in the event of supplier/carriage failure.
Collections are normally at the bride’s second fitting unless alternative arrangements have been made.
Hoop hire is £150 which £100 of the amount must be paid in cash and will be returned once the hoop is returned. If the hoop is damaged or returned later then the date agreed the deposit shall not be returned.
Please note: The Boutique accept no responsibility for any wedding gowns once they have left the premises.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
